Keeping going

When I finished my studies, and after a long celebration, would like me to work peaceful, maybe at the countryside (yes, with cows and roosters) away from the city (I have spent many years with the pollution of Santiago) enjoying the life with my boyfriend and sons (not really, is very expensive buy one), but (everything have a BUT) I know that every good work for a new graduate person is near to the town, so, maybe that farm dream will have to wait.
Whatever, I would like to help people, from my discipline (architecture), we can create more friendly buildings that help the environment and the society, great green spaces for isolated communities, edifications with cultural programs, uniting the people closer to the city and themselves, with tiny interventions too, like Placemaking (social interventions on the disuses spaces) and urban acupuncture.
But (there’s another but), in Chile, the architecture and urbanism is focus on the capital development, building for cars and industry, pushing aside the social life, the street interaction what makes poor quality of life. So, I would like to travel and meet other places and realities (I know that I’ll always come back to my shore).
Sometimes I think about studying another career related to social issues. I don’t really care about the salary (while there’s food, everything is ok), I just want to make this world better, I have seen how people suffer because of their loneliness and troubles, I want to be there.

My first concert

When I was 16 (I'm 22 years old now, I'm growing older), saw on the TV an advert about Roger Water's concert, with The Wall album (I love that movie and his songs). Immediatly, I start to ask for money or some credit card to my family, "I must go" thought in my mind. Finally my grandmother bought me the ticket with her credit card. I will never forget that concert, It was on the begining of March, lovely sunny day (like 40°C, falling roasted ducks), with some beers outside of the National Stadium of Chile waiting to let us enter. Was my first concert in my life, and the first time smoking weed (I don't feel so proud about it, the day that I became a druggy. Just kidding), was a spiritual journey, singing all the hits that I love (screaming, actually). Fireworks, the greatest wall I've ever seen, visual effects, and a full stadium are things that I will never forget, I hope so.    At the night when I went home, high yet, with reddish eyes, my mother

My career is the party

I remember when I was 13, my art teacher told us to made a mockup of our houses (I was a very good student and I took very seriously that homework). Since that day I known that architecture is my career: I want to make miniatures for the rest of my days. When I dreamed about that discipline I always imagined me building things, making parks and public spaces from the people of the city, building nice things, but when I arrived to the  Universidad the Chile  (nobody had faith on my when the PSU day came, and obviously I chose the “best university of the country”) I discovered the truth about this career (I just like to be pessimistic), probably you’ll never build a stuff, the academic workload is unhuman (I had to transform me to an animal haha not really, I will never leave my social life aside, maybe I should) and some subjects are really boring (I never imagined me bore at class). After all, I keep my own fighting (it is very difficult, at least to me) just for the people I

Controversial questions

What is your opinion about legalizing marijuana and other drugs?  Since I have tasted marijuana I knew that is not a dangerous drug, it relaxes you and help with mental problems, even with health problems like epilepsy and physical pains. So I completely agree with the legalization for medical and recreational uses. The self-growth could stop drug trafficking and help many people who use it to control their sickness. What is your opinion about recycling? This is a big issue, we have to normalize the recycle and reuse of the garbage, but nowadays the government is not really interested in promote it, even knowing all the consequences that the plastic pollution is generating to the environment. If we don’t change our life style, very soon we’ll be living in a plastic world, full of contamination, without animals and healthy plants. What is your opinion about Immigration? I’ve always think that borders must disappear, are just political things that make us enemies a
